I met found my husband (I will refer to him as KW) back in May of 2009 while in a Yahoo! chat room. I was 24 years old and was just bored one night and thought why not? Maybe there will be at least one decent guy on here! KW and I began chatting back and forth through Yahoo! Messenger we did this for about an hour before he convinced me to give him my number. After going over and over it in my mind I thought, He seems like a nice guy... What could possibly go wrong? Well thankfully the Lord was watching over me and KW was not a crazy psycho stalker! We ended up talking for a few hours that night and then the next night and the night after that. And then came the question... when can we meet? I immediately got nervous and thought there is no way I am going to meet you!
But KW being the ever so smooth talker that he is eventually talked me into not only meeting him but driving all the way to Montevallo from Chelsea to meet him at his apartment. (Side note girls do NOT do this, even though Kent turned out to be a great guy -- this was a VERY stupid move on my part.) We continued to talk throughout the summer and then finally the time came and we went on our first official date on July 12, 2009.
That summer I also meet his Brother, Sister-in-law and beautiful niece B! Then in October 2009 I met his parents at his father's retirement party. Followed by him meeting my parents at Longhorn on 280 for dinner. This was a very big deal to me because this is the first time I had ever brought my "boyfriend" to meet my parents. So at this point I knew I cared a lot about this guy and as we were walking out of the restaurant after dinner -- I knew I loved him and wanted to spend the rest of my life with him!

And then on October 2, 2010 we started our life as Mr. & Mrs.
